    The article basically says:

"Unless you hate them and want to act as they do, you are helping them." Perhaps he is not a Christian, and did not know what Jesus said about enemies.

Pray for the author; he needs it badly.

Well, he's one Useful Idiot himself. Neither does the term Islamofascism exist in the native parlance of Islam. Islam is Islam. There is no democratic Islam, there is no moderate Islam, there is no neutral Islam.
War is a way of life for Islam. This author's statement says so, and I concur:

Muslims may be quiet and "leave you alone" when they are the minority anywhere, but wait till they grow in numbers, and I speak from experience.
They demand toleration, but in their own countries, especially where the Sharia is law, they are intolerant. Try to bring and tote a Bible in Saudi Arabia, or Jeddah, or start a fellowship among fellow believers.

Which is why I don't believe, personally, the Lebanese version of Israel's incursion into Southern Lebanon when they encountered weapons being smuggled for Hezbollah, and I don't care if anyone points out that the Lebanese top dog is a "Christian".

So. Muslims are "absolute predestinarians", eh ?

Pray for my enemies ? Sure, I'll do that. let's do that. But, even so, nowhere in the Bible does it say that once we become Christians we should be naive, cowardly, delusional, and just lay our necks on the chopping block without resistance. Islam is Islam. Don't buy that junk on there being such a thing as a "moderate" Muslim. Ain't no such thing.

So, let's pray for them, but, when it's necessary, let's fight them just as fiercely as they fight us. Fiercely, mind you, not savagely.

    Interesting take.

I didn't see anywhere that he urged us to hate anyone. The message , to me , was one of "be aware" or possibly an urgent message to those "usefull idiots" amongst us that political correctness concerning the religion of Islam could get them killed.

Ascribing Christian values to Muslims is a huge mistake.

I find it interesting that some of Islam's most "usefull idiots" in this country consider themselves to be the intellectually elite. Go figure.

In fact they comprise the majority in Bosnia and Turkey, two officially secular Muslim nations.

And, in fact, they work 24/7 to overthrow the secularists, who maintain control through force and fear.

I respect your opinion about these guys, KenH.
But I've seen enough "moderates" in my time, man.
    These guys are Muslim.
    Remember what I said ?
    A Muslim is a Muslim.
Now some take it to say that I mean they are evil inherently and therefore will remain evil.
But, really, what I'm saying is, Islam is Islam, that's their religion, and no matter how "moderate" their ideas may be at the present time, or even how opposite, they might be so only because they are not yet that deep into Islam, you know what I mean ?
Like, one's born a Baptist, raised a Baptist, grew up among Baptists, and do not understand why most Baptists would consider those of other religions as "children of the devil" or "unsaved" or "hellbound", and so on, until they get "into it", or somebody really sits down and "opens" the Bible to them, or they themselves "open" the Bible and get illumination, and push becomes shove, and next thing they know, they're ardent, on fire, hellfire and brimstone, witnessing day and night, trying to get souls saved Baptists.

Now, these guys, they are Muslims, their religion is Islam, and Islam, for all its pretenses, is not a religion of peace. Its goal is world "conversion", and its most fundamental precepts dictate death to all who would reject Islam.

As persons, yeah, sure, they abhor what's going on.

But the right preacher comes along, the right push turns to shove, Islam will burn in their hearts. Unless, of course, the true Light of the world first illumines them according to His will. And, mind you, I believe that there are those born, raised, and educated in Islam, who are at this very moment avid believers and witnesses for Jesus Christ in dangerous circumstances.

I know of someone in my own country, of my own generation, who was as "moderate" as moderate can be. Born into a rich, landed family, educated in exclusive colleges, he became involved in social activism, first, then political activism, and he was on the moderate side of the spectrum, believing that armed struggle is never the answer, but peaceful means ought to be sought for change to happen.

This under the dictatorship and under martial rule.

Until he went on "practicum", and lived among the peasants and the workers, and saw the violence happening unseen and unknown in a seemingly tranquil country.

He took up arms, and is now dead.

That's the way it is with Islam, too. The right push, the right shove, and the basic tenets will prevail.

Islam is Islam, Muslims are Muslims.

They are basically, warriors, and warlike.

Confusing culture with religion is another.

Smart people, intellectual elites, are just as driven by emotion, including pride and patriotism, as anyone else - they are often better at putting their desires into play.

    Agreed.

Christians cannot afford to confuse the Muslim's culture with their religion or vice versa.

    It could get them dead.
