I just found this web page on FB.
I took a quick look at this page -
First it is a lengthy article, there is no way we could discuss the entire article.
If you find something that you think deserves lengthy discussion -start a new thread
otherwise it might be wise to comment on only 2 or 3 different subject.

I trust that this will be a well read thread.

The tax that ignited the "Boston Tea Party" was 3 pence per pound of tea. We pay 10x that amount on every gallon of gas.

Apparently the author did not take inflation into account.
these taxes are to pay for our roads and upkeep
something that was not needed in the 18th century.

Could it be you omitted the link to the article intended to generate discussion?

Well, bless your heart. ;) If I had to rely solely on memory I’d do well to finish a thought. :Rolleyes

If it's interesting enough, perhaps try a DuckDuckGo search using some keywords?

Having briefly thought it over, in the spirit of many previous threads, I still might be tempted to accept the challenge. I mean, actually reading the article doesn’t seem to be a prerequisite in some discussions, or at least for some participants. Your own knowledge of it will only give you the illusion of having the upper hand, and that obvious arrogance will be easily used against you to your downfall. I feel like I’ve almost won the debate already without having even started. :Wink

Nope - the only thing I can think of blaming is old age.

    I finally found it!!!
Part of the reason that I had trouble finding is because the FB page I found it
had just deleted him from the page due to his extreme views

Here is the link of Keven Craig

Well, from what I could tell, this link was to legal briefs in a man’s case to be a conscientious objector pacifist in order to obtain a law license.

Apparently, he objected to the oath, as far as I could tell, stating his loyalty was to God first and only and could not subject his faith to duty to the court.

    peace to you
