About the devil -
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
About the Lord -
And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
Do you know the difference between a lion and someone doing something "as" a lion?Originally posted by David J:
Strange that no KJVOist cares to comment on this "lion" problem...
Do you think we should toss the KJV in the trash because of this confusing "lion" issue found in the KJV?
My Bible does not call Christ and the Devil lions. My Bible says that Christ is a lion and Satan acts like a lion.
Maybe the reason "no KJVOist cares to comment on this "lion" problem" is because we want a real challenge
