Evan Bayh would be a good pick for Democrats. Phil Bredesen has been mentioned as a pick as well, though I don't see him helping.

I suspect the Republicans would pick a person in the field already. But there are some good candidates out there not running.

With Huckabee on the GOP ticket I might end up for voting for the Democrat if Arkansas is competitive. The man was awful as my governor.

I think that a ticket with a senator on it at the top needs a governor on it to offer some balance when it comes to leadership skills.

That's a ticket I think I could live with (although I'd prefer it was the other way around. BUT I think the McCain/Huckabee ticket may be more probable at this point.

What is it about the Gov from Minn that you think will make them select him?

As is evident from this campaign the GOP bench is rather thin on the presidential level. The next generation of leadership needs to be prepared. Governor Pawlenty is an up and comer.

Edwards doesn't seem to be doing well, but he's my choice. Still, how about these:

    D - Clinton/Feingold

    R - McCain/Spector

I think a Clinton/Obama ticket would be great! I also think it would be unbeatable by any ticket the republicans can put together.

I'm not sure they'd work together though. Especially if things stay as tight as they've been.

As a christian, you should at least be happy that he successfully pushed some social values legislative agenda, even if you consider his administration negative in terms of higher taxes, soft in crime, liberal economic policies, etc.

I really can see your biased against Huckabee. I hope you have no personal hatred against him as it will not be good for you. At least consider him that he is also your brother in Christ.
