Vomiting in the Spirit

    holy vomiting is another charismatic manifistation , i have heard of slain in the spirit and holy laughter and the animal noises but this vomit thing is new to me. this charismatic group can it get any more weired ? how much more dishonor can the do? this comment came from their group

    hmmmmm I haven't heard about that one...Although I did see someone suggest something semi-similar for their next manifestation on a web page...Something that I will not repeat here [​IMG]

    I was talking to a mate one night and came up with my own new whizz-bang sign and wonder following though. Basically it involves everyone in the Church running around moving arms and saying "Chuggachugga chuggachugga WOOO WOOO"...I call this new sign of God being with us...wait for it..."TRAIN in the spirit" :D

    Like all good modern manifestation infestations I can provide scriptural support from Psalms 68:18, Proverbs 22:6, Isaiah 6:1, 1 Timothy 4:7 to name a few:

    When you ascended on high, you led captives in your train....Train a child in the way he should go....In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple....train yourself to be godly.

    Amen! Train yourself to be godly! All together now! "Chuggachugga chuggachugga WOOO WOOO" :D :rolleyes:

    Maybe I should buy a charismaniac franchise...Would make a fortune with it... :rolleyes:

    1.WHAT DO DEMONS BELIEVE?
    Strange as it may seem,demons acknowledge that there is only one God (James 2;19).
    2.CAN DEMONS PERSONALLY HARM YOU?
    Those people who have a true relationship with Christ cannot be overcome by demons;those who do not are fair game for these servants of Satan (Acts 19;13-20).
    3.WHAT MAKES DEMONS POWERLESS?
    The name of Jesus used by the followers of Jesus makes the demons tremble (Luke 10;1-20).

    This just sounds too unreal, even for charismatics. Does anyone have any proof that this is really practiced? A link to a church that mentions it, anything solid? I am not saying it's not true, it's just so unbelievable I would like to validate the claim before I speak against it.

    I am unable to find a reliable source. It may be true, but I have yet to find an eyewitness to this, the same as with holy barking.

    I haven't seen any barking either, but I have seen a video clip of John Scotland crowing like a rooster at the Toronto Blessing. It was sad really. It was supposedly a "wake up call" from God. Everytime he started to read the Bible, he would crow like a rooster! Truly sickening and very sad.

    Just did a search on it, while charismaniac sites don't say it is happening, they explain that it could in a 'deliverance ministry' :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

    I have no link, but I heard a lady say once, that she was delivered of the demon of 'cancer' by vomiting up the tumor. :rolleyes:

    Why do so many Christians think this kind of nonsense is spiritual? Just start sharing your faith and the non-believers will tell you what they think of it.

    The non-Christians pick up real fast what this kind of stuff is all about.

    Several years a young man told me something and then claimed the Holy Spirit told him. I responded to him by saying, "Whose spirit?"

    Many Christians poop in the Spirit, but they're usually polite enough to keep it to themselves. The same should, imo, adhere to vomiting in the Spirit.
