VP Candidate files suit against Obama

It wasnt thrown out because it was discredited. It was thrown out because the attorney did not have standing.

What would happen if these lawsuits stuck, and January 20th got here, who would become President if the issue is either unresolved or the facts of the suit prove true? I would think Biden.

 

If they stick before the electors vote I would assume that Obama electors would be freed up to vote for whomever they pick.

Not sure what would happen after they voted. I think that the Vice-president elect would assume the presidency if the president elect does not make it to inauguration day.

Interesting question.

More interesting is what would happen if there was a change between the time the electors vote and their vote is announced.

Filing suit to overthrow the election based on this is as bad as Gays filing suit to overthrow Prop 8.

I wondered in another thread why the "supposed" certificate he has made available is green and my daughters under two years later from the same office is white and a completely different format. I assume his might be a recent copy and of different look but don't know.

I think it is too late. Even if he is not a natural born citizen as the Constitution says he must be in order to be POTUS, he has already been given presidential intelligence briefings as of 11/5, and already knows too much to not be sworn in. In fact, his demeanor today at the first press conference (on the economy) was already changed, not arrogant as he has always appeared to be in the past. The only thing I can attribute the change in demeanor to is the intel briefings. There must be some really bad stuff going on that we will never know about. If the Constitution has been violated over his election, it won't be the first time the Constitution has been violated. Even Henry Hyde (R) former congressman told us the Constitution is no longer valid or applicable for today's world. Kiss it goodbye.

 

Henry Hyde was wrong - our constitution is valid and intact. The fact that it can't be manipulated to suit the tastes of some, I guess, is frustrating.

Long live the US constitution. Pesky thing just keeps surviving.

 

...however, if the peoples vote went to someone who shouldn't have been on the ballot in the first place, it would give place to re-election. It's not really comparable to Prop 8, as Prop 8 had legal standing to be on the ballot, It remains to be seen if Obama also did.

 

What is obama forthcoming about? He is a motor mouth in an empty suit like his vp biden.
