I am looking for biographical information on Willis Anselm Jarrel (1849-1927), a Baptist preacher and author. He wrote several books, including "The gospel in water," or Campbellism; being an exposition and refutation of Campbellism; Baptizo-dip-only: the world’s pedobaptist Greek scholarship, containing scores of answers to the author’s questions from pedobaptist Greek scholars in ten different countries; Baptist church perpetuity: or, the continuous existence of Baptist churches from the Apostolic to the present day demonstrated by the Bible and by history; Liberty of conscience and the Baptist; Old Testament ethics vindicated: being an exposition of Old Testament morals ... and a vindication of Old Testament morals against infidelity; The origin, the nature, the kingdom, the works, and the destiny of the devil; and The Bible verbally inspired: proving the Bible fully inspired as to both matter and words.

He evidently pastored in Illinois and Texas, and perhaps other places. Any info? Ideas on where to find info? So far I've found little about the person.
