Oh, I thought that you admired Russell Moore for his flag burning and marxism and his rude manners.

I'm arguing in support of a moral position not a political party. I've never said that if you are a Republican you can't be a Christian. The Democratic version been said to my face and on this board. I argue against a theology that combines Christianity with the Republican party. I'm not arguing for the Democratic party nor do I accept all of their positions. Many here have tried to force that on me but I reject it.
I take positions that support the poor and needy. I also take positions against guns and violence. I do not claim that the Democratic party or an individual candidate provides the solution. But most here believe is that the Republican party is the infallible answer.
My greatest concern is the combination of Christianity and the Republican party. This has resulted in the almost deification of an immortal person who is using the church for political gain.

Hmmm. Let’s see. You accept only certain, politically left-leaning sources, which just happen to align with Dems/Socialists. You argue for certain political positions and against others that, again, just happen to align with Dems/Socialists. Your concern for the poor and needy is always argued in the context of political solutions in the form of Socialism to the demise of the nation. Your concern for guns and violence is always argued in the form of political solutions which would give way to Socialism or some other form of tyranny in place of our free form of government. Though ostensibly against the act itself, you even advocate for making/keeping abortion legal, once again “inadvertently” aligning most especially with Dems. And when it comes to the relentless assault on the constitutionally recognized religious freedoms of Christians, you take the side of secularists, atheists, the morally profane and obscene, just like Dems and their allies.

All of this, yet you claim to be merely arguing moral positions perfectly in line with Jesus Christ and devoid of any political leanings or attachments. And then you expect others to believe that you are not deceiving yourself or being deceived in all of this? Brother, you ask too much. Just like your assumed moral superiority, your excuse that some believers have somehow sworn spiritual allegiance to the Reps and especially to Trump stems much more from your imagination than reality. Again, you seem to have it all backward.

I have views on politics and share them but my life is not guided by a political party as yours is. Actually, you are right in the sense that a Christian should really not get involved at all in politics or the military. Read the book, "The Myth of a Christian Nation." The Kingdom of God is entirely different from all the kingdoms of this world including America. America controls by exerting top-down force through military strength, economic control, etc. The Kingdom of God changes things by using bottom-up actions, by being a servant as Jesus was. The two approached are diametrically opposing. Changes in America are not done according to Jesus' Christian example and detract from the power of His Kingdom rather than adding to it. Trying to combine Christian actions with worldly actions (like combining the Church with the Republican Party) is counterproductive to God and acts against His will.

Sound radical? Of course it is but that's what the Bible teaches.

[1Co 1:18, 21, 25 KJV] 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. ... 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. ... 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
[1Co 2:14 KJV] 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.
[1Co 3:19 KJV] 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

I do need to continue to work to become more like Jesus.

This is an interesting graph showing the political orientation of a large number of news sources. It focuses on The Hill in the center, Fox News on the right and Cnn, Politico, The New York Times and The Washington Post on the left because those have the largest number of users. Breitbart is further to the Right.

    Media by Pol Orientation.jpg

Notice that Notice that CNN and Politico are much closer to the center than Fox News and Breitbart. The New York Times and The Washington Post are about as far Left as Fox News is on the Right.

What? That's not what that graph meant at all - all it shows is the number media shares during the last presidential election on twitter, the bigger the node, the bigger the share, sheesh. Wanna see the FB shares?:

so all it really said was that Trump voters used alternative media on these social media platforms, and the Hillary voters used their MSM.

When it comes to the spiritual, differences here may be minor. You are just preaching to the choir. We all agree Jesus is the King of kings whose kingdom is not of this world; He is the Lord of lords and our lord. Yes, his kingdom is radically different from the world, though some spots on earth permit its influence and spread more than others. Make no mistake, to a vast extent America has historically recognized it, allowed it, even encouraged it, and unsurprisingly, benefited in the process.

However, when it comes to politics, you are not radical in the sense you seem to wish. As you admit, you push political views, but their arguments, or more accurately, their suppositions, are all left- to heavily left-leaning, radically influenced by worldly sources, and as such are as diametrically opposed to Jesus as you imagine the right to be. The fact that churches and church leaders are being misled through their involvement in associated anti-Christian, leftist/progressive movements seems to escape your attentive criticism, and that’s a shame. Neither they nor you hold the moral high ground politically, not even close.

But again, the point here is that your own political involvement should make you realize that criticizing those on the right for their political involvement to the point of questioning their discipleship is completely out of order. No right thinking person can accept it, as it just looks like blind, self-righteous hypocrisy. It should stop.

This is what the article says:
The study’s authors—including Yochai Benkler, a Harvard Law professor and co-director of the Berkman Center for Internet and Society; and Ethan Zuckerman of MIT’s Center for Civic Media—analyzed hyperlinks between different sites, social-sharing patterns on Facebook and Twitter, and the type of language used when sharing.

That's broader than just twitter. I think many if not most people access these news sources online these days. I take The New3 York Times but not the paper copy. I access it online. That might be less frequent for people using Fox News, NBC, CBS, etc. I don't watch much TV at all anymore. This looks like a pretty thorough study but nof course they are alternative approaches. PEW did a poll asking this question.

Broader than Twitter because it also included Facebook? You are desperate, aren't you?

You realize you completely misrepresented the graph you posted and when 777 called you on it you simply shifted gears and changed your narrative, merrily bouncing along as if nothing were amiss.

This is what leftists like AOC and Ilhan Omar do every day.

When they are caught in the act they complain they are getting picked on.

(Looks at thread title... How would you like your crow served?)

I didn't misrepresent the graph. Did you read the article? I quoted his article and then went top one of the links in that article which explained how the study was done.
Study: Breitbart-led right-wing media ecosystem altered broader media agenda

How was that changing the subject? This link explained the use of more than twitter data. Get back to me when you understand.

Why do you claim I'm greedy? I'm not a socialist. Do you support Medicare and Social Security? I'm on both and my concern is Trump will cut them to give more money to his rich crowd.

That's silly. It's the liberals like you who are calling for a tax increase. You should apply for section 8 housing and food stamps, too.

We are calling for a tax increase on the wealthy, people who make more than $0.5M / year. Warren Buffet says he supports an increase on the wealthy of which he is one of course. So does Bill Gates. Buffet says it's ridiculous that he pays less taxes percentage wise than his secretary does. Do you support that kind of tax structure? Did you support GW Bush stealing from the Social Security Trust Fund to fund the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq? Why?
