    Ok sense Solomon tells us this,

    Is war an issue of immorality?

    Sense several instigators are derailing the Alzheimer's thread by bringing up opinions about war I decided to redirect their points to a thread dedicated to the subject of war, when is it justified or when is it immoral?

    This is why I started the thread on Just War (which JustChristian brought up), so I don't think we need 2 threads on war.

    Would you consider asking the mods to close this thread?

    Yeah you are probably right so I edited my post. It is a quote from the '60's song that Magnetic Poles referred to and why I posted the :saint: smiley. It was not my words, I have sense repented though. :praying: :godisgood: :wavey:

    what about wars in scripture, were they good for nothing? God appeared to ahve a purpose. Is this true of every war, I don't know.

    This was not the time for war. This war is immoral as was Viet Nam because our national security was never at risk for either one. Were you afraid that Hussain was going to attack the US?

    Not on topic again I see. If you can't win an argument, derail it. JC's motto. The topic is asking for your opinion of when a war is moral or immoral. Answer the question or leave it alone. Do not redirect it.

    I voted "other" and will qualify it: there is never any good to come out of war. Period. :)

    Btw, I think the first four categories were just snarky. A rather poorly constructed poll.
