    I think that he was making reference to 1 John 1:8: "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

    How interesting, I have not to my recollection heard this term, sinless perfection in years. I was raised in a Nazarene Church and do remember this being used in relation to sanctification. Other then The Church of God Holiness, Wesleyan Methodist and the Pentecostal Church of God are there any other denominations that teach this?
