This is what happened when Jim Moran, who was exposing the Local Church, died.

They teach two salvations. One is of grace and for heaven, the other is of works and it is a salvation from hell for the millenium. It is heresy and if you believe it you would be saddened about the charge. But that does not determine truth. The word heresy is not simply used for essentials of the faith. But it refers to unorthodox views essential or otherwise.

Nee is connected with the recovery version... Bad.

All the ME proponants that used to be here held him up in high regards... as they did Witness Lee.

    I consider him a heretic.

Rev is right.. he is very connected to the ME heretics.

AMEN... We need to use "heretic" when it comes to promoting 2 different salvations...

Any doctrine that teaches a Millenial purgatory is heresy...

It is either by Grace alone.. or it is heresy.

I'm not at all surprised. In fact, you can find a lot of books with bad teachings published by Christian publishers and sold by Christian bookstores/online stores. It's really sad.

I'm always telling people when I speak on my ministry areas that they cannot accept things because a Christian or some Christians teach or promote them, no matter who they are. I've seen too much bad stuff taught and promoted. Everything needs to be carefully examined using God's word.

When you do your search do not just do "nee" but do watchman nee. I came up with several pages.

I tried that initially, and came up with many pages...but none pertaining to Watchman Nee, that is why I started this thread.

I did. The fact he holds to ME doesn't bother me as much as the modalism does, as I like much of what I read of Charles Stanley (a ME'er). If the charges of modalism and mysticism are true, when I get to that in the book, I will make note of that.
This is my pastor's favorite book, and I will have to discuss this with him when I get to it, as he asked for my thoughts on it when I'm done. If feelings are a big part of Nee's work, I will discuss this with my pastor, as I'm getting the impression he relies on this quite a bit...and that concerns me.

Do you realize that ME'ers interpret passages like john 3 in a completely different light?
