What we have is a very active hardworking House run by Republicans and a do nothing Senate run by democrats.

    Obama is lying again.

Carpro, you forgot to include the link to the article.

I read it earlier today and found it to be quite interesting.

And written by an African-American no less - so no one can shout racism.

I believe that this is the article in question...

    http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/278069/obama-lies-about-do-nothing-congress-deroy-murdock

    From the article:
"Now that his “Blame Bush” hobby horse finally has retired to the glue factory, Obama resorts to pinning America’s woes on the “Do-Nothing Congress.”

    snip

"Congress consists of a do-something House of Representatives, run by Republicans, and a do-nothing Senate controlled by Obama’s very own Democrats. Obama evidently believes that if he can keep spouting clever lies and distortions, no one will call him on it. Well, it’s time to do so."

    My recommendation:
Read the article - it is an eye opener.

Couldn't help but think that the "do nothing" Congress of right now sure is better than the "do everything on the liberal wish list for the past 60 years Congress" we just un-elected.

I forsee the day when almost all of America is in tears from the tens of thousands of pages of legislature enacted and signed by Obama during that first two years of his term. Most of what was signed into law had a start date of 2012 and beyond, which is why many people still don't realize what he and his cronies did to America. Just wait... :tonofbricks:

Selective amnesia seems the rule of the day:

So Bachmann admits they, the Republicans want to do nothing and especially not to pass any laws else they then have a record. Heaven forbid a Congressman/woman have a record to defend. :BangHead:

There is lots more but this is a good sample.

Democrats depend on gullibility and ignorance like yours to keep their lies going.

This "do nothing", obstructionist etc. rhetoric is dumb. We have three branches of government so one can't rail road the country in "their" direction. We have multiple parties and differing make-up of the senate/house so that one group can't do all that they want.

Conflict is the safety factor not the problem!

If anything right now it is the congress not stopping the regulations that are pouring out of the white house - doing nothing to stem the tide. Obama will continue until someone stops him or overturns all the stuff coming out of ONE branch of government without control of the other TWO.

I appreciate your posts as they bring so much humor into my life.

I guess you have forgotten the decision made by the Republican folk to oppose anything Obama proposed ... even ideas they had pushed for.

Yes, it has. Something else democrats depend on is the media to help spread their lies and keep their followers ignorant.

The media isn't exactly trumpeting the truth and they never call Obama on his lies. The masses of ignorant democrats eagerly swallow it all.

Been going on for a long time, as well.

Perhaps, a president and a congress that could present and get passed a budget bill would have halted some of the current goings on, but that seemed to be an impossible task for the Obama administration and his super-majority congress. Now, the national budget is, very simply, "The sky is the limit -- how much paper and ink can we find?"

The moment conservatives -- overwhelmingly swept into office by a vote of the people to DO SOMETHING to reign in spending -- start doing what they were elected to do, they are a "do nothing congress."

    Sure they are... :BangHead:
