    Obituary:

    Edmond T. "Eddie" Sutton, 61, of Garrard County, died Saturday, Oct. 17 at home.

    A native of Garrard County, he was born Friday, Aug. 6, 1948, to the late Edmond T. Sutton, Sr. and Evelyn Setzer Sutton. He was farmer, cab driver, owner of a chicken restaurant, lifetime member of Forks of Dix River Baptist Church, contributor to the Online Baptist Bulletin Board and a member of the Church History Project for the Rural Heritage Festival.
    Survivors include his wife, Peggy A. Sutton; and a sister-in-law, Pat Sutton of Garrard County.

    Funeral services were Oct. 20 at Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial was in Lancaster Cemetery

    I am so heartbroken. Although I never met this dear brother, he touched my heart.

    We can't wait to actually meet one day Ed! Keep the coffee on!

    I am so sorry to read this news. :tear: My prayers are for Peggy and Ed's family at this time.

    Ed will be missed by many but we can look forward to that day when we can all be together in Heaven for all eternity.

    Does someone want to make a post about this on the board? It's kind of buried in here and some may not read it thinking it's a continuation of a prayer request rather than the announcement of his death. Just a thought.

    For those of you who do know the family, please convey to them our heartfelt sympathy. Our prayers are with the family as they grieve for their loved one. May the good Lord comfort each and every one as only He can, and may He hasten the day when we will all see Him face to face as our dear Brother Ed is doing right now. What a glorious day it will be indeed! :flower:
