And contrary to popular belief, the Royal Famly could still hold power if they so choose.

 

Don't you think the people would come aginst them if the Royal Family tried?

Seems to me the princess Diana era has made quite an impact.

I think you are right GB (Great Britain?). There would be an uproar. But stranger things have happened. Certainly Prince Charles could do nothing, I'd join the army to fight against that clown (with all due respect).

But if a leader can come to power via democracy and turn to being a dictatorship there is nothing to say a leader cannot come to power via a subdued monarchy and somehow regain complete power.

Maybe if they could get the CIA to help them get to power like they did with Saddam... whoops. Sorry, really.
