Probably Balut. It's a developing duck embryo (fertilized duck egg) that is boiled and eaten in the shell. I am a Filipino, but I still don't like its taste and texture. I have just eaten it only once and I never would want to try it again.

Mine would have to be crab legs. My mom and sister love them and wanted me to try it also, I did and it just felt weird in my mouth.

Before when I was much younger the weirdest thing I've ever eaten was raw fish or Japanese sushi but these days I enjoy it now. I've eaten fermented duck eggs before with the chick still intact and it was terrible and crunchy. I've also eaten squid tentacles that were still moving in a restaurant in South Korea. It's good if you dip it in sauce and chew it well enough so it doesn't get stuck to your throat.

In return for the Durian, my wife and I gifted my friends with a brocciflower this morning, a cross between broccoli and cauliflower.
[IMG] It looks like a green Durian, only it's edible.
