Were the OT believers In Yahweh Actually regenerated?

    Were they under same method we are today, after the Cross of Chrsit, or were they under a different model of salvation than we are in the "Age of Grace?"

    Did they have mentally assent to what God had showed them/told them, and that faith was seen as being credit to them as rightousness, its like God was taking credit from the Cross yet to come, but that they were not renergated as we are? Still same old natures, and after the Cross is when believers actually got a new nature/really regenerated?
