Were you better off in 2008

    True, God is taking care of His own. But the question was not about God. God is supplying our needs, but our income is much lower than it was in 2008. Our house value is worth less - about $50K to $60K less than it was in 2008. Our taxes (real estate) are higher. Groceries are higher. Gasoline is higher. Utilities are higher. Cable (basic TV and Internet service) is higher.

    Yes, we were better off in 2008.

    And about the Patriot Act, or TSA - the TSA never got so invasive until under obama's watch. We used to just have to take off our shoes. The not carrying on liquids and being molested and body scanning didn't occur until obama.

    Hope this isn't too much off OP, but:
    Yes, you are correct that TSA tighten security after 20 Jan 08. But were those resections a direct result of Obama - could he have rescinded them?

    Convicted, one thing I notice about your new picture, you can go as Obama on Halloween and you do not need a costume.
