WASHINGTON — Steve Bannon's attorney relayed questions, in real time, to the White House during a House Intelligence Committee interview of the former Trump chief strategist, people familiar with the closed-door session told The Associated Press.

As lawmakers probed Bannon's time working for President Donald Trump, Bannon's attorney Bill Burck was asking the White House counsel's office by phone during the Tuesday session whether his client could answer the questions. He was told by that office not to discuss his work on the transition or in the White House.

This is called obstruction of justice, an impeachable offense.

Stopping being willfully ignorant. That of course is the exact same thing Obama did for 8 years. As well as every president before him, if everything was public record nothing would ever be said.

You really don't believe this Russian thing do you? Even after all the FBI texts showing they were out to get him? Muller has hired nothing but never Trump people. They still have zero on Trump..zero. Turns out it' been turning up all sorts of stuff on Clinton lol.

The testimony was in front of a Congressional committee. It was not a police interrogation. Nor was it in front of a grand jury. One could make the "executive privilege" argument.

Amazing how some people prove the old adage, “Tis better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
A lack of knowledge has never stopped a leftist from putting in his 2 cents!

Just read the WSJ article on this. As I thought, it's an "executive privilege" matter. This kind of kerfluffle happens in all administrations. So, this one is no different.

You better start believing it. Trump deserves to be impeached and will be.

What evidence are you basing this off of? What could Russia have done to alter the election? Tap into 1,000's of locally controlled voting machines that are not connected to the internet? Please, for goodness sakes, tell me what you think happened.

No, this is called the legal system. Its how it works. Hillary wiping her server "with like a cloth or something" was obstruction of justice.

Claiming "executive privilege" is not new. Folks from and in previous administrations have done the same. There are procedures developed over the years for Congress to deal with what either house deems to be an improper claim. Though, I read in today's WSJ Bannon says he will cooperate in full with Mueller.
