Since they do not believe Jesus is the Meshiah about sacrifices? Especially the animal ones? How can they truly fulfill Old Testament laws yet not practice animal sacrifices?

I find this site is pretty good for understanding modern Judaism.

Wow. I can't describe my feelings of reading this and knowing that God provided both the place and the Sacrifice and yet 2000 years later the Jewish people still can't see Him. I stand amazed and dismayed at the same time. :(

Put this in perspective, your God gives you a holy place that is destroyed. Now there is a Mosque there? And after all these years the Lord your God has not given you a new place? Menageriekeeper, I think you hit pay dirt!

"For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
    13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved", Romans 10:12-13. This is the gospel today. Yesterday it was "repent and be baptized for the remission of your sins" to Israel, and the proselytes.

The national Israel today is lost, but those with blood of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are today just as we heathen, and as Peter says the Jew today can be saved just as we Gentile's. Israel has been blinded by God. They broke "covenant" with Him for they turned out to be just like we Gentiles. They went after Idols to be their God. Romans 11:7, "What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded."

The only place we can find the answers are in His Word. It is the "Book" we are to read and study to make ourselves approved. Our God is a God of "division", and we are to correctly "divided" His Word.

II Corinthians 3:13-18, "And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
    14. But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
    15. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
    16. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
    17. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
    18. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."

Today it is the "Body Church", and not the "Kingdom Church" we are to be in. That "Kingdom Church" that was at hand will come, but not until after the "Body Church" is caught up to our Lord Jesus Christ in the air.

The site that Dragon posted states that Jews are forgiven by repentence, prayer and good deeds.
A link also shows that good deeds is following the Law.

Not so far off from what some posters here have claimed.

Amen! Today the Jew is just like me a Gentile. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and they will be saved.

Growing up nominally Jewish I learned that even before the destruction of the first temple (586 BCE) the Jews in exile were forced into a "spiritualizing" of ritual and sacrifice and much of the ceremonial law. The synagogue replaced the Temple as the focal point of daily instruction and meeting.

Even in the time of Christ when a second temple had been constructed, the average Jew would offer sacrifices at the temple only 2-3 times a year. All else centered around spiritual obedience and the synagogue.

BTW, most of the pharisees were located in the rural Judean area or in the Galilee. Most of the saducees were located around the Temple and city of Jerusalem. The bulk of Jesus' ministry was in the Galilee and conflicts arose in the synagogue there long before he was even on the radar in Jerusalem.
