Whether or not Phil Kidd is our "brother" is the very point in question, though, isn't it?

well, as I said I give Bro. Kidd the benefit of the doubt. UNLESS- someone could PROVE otherwise, and it looks to me like someone has only confirmed the fact that Bro. Kidd is not guilty of the racial things that were said of him. But- how did we come to the conclusion that his Salvation is somehow not genuine?
As I said before the idea that Bro. Kidd is a "false teacher" is absolutely a false accusation! We better check ourselves, saying such vile things of the "anointed of God" could bring swift and hard judgement.
    In Christ,

Read the rest of the Scripture passage: ". . . and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?"

It clearly condemns exactly what you are doing! Phil Kidd gives a clear-cut testimony of repentance and salvation. It appears that he has a changed life. Has God granted you the prerogative to judge his salvation? Can you give a single observable fact(e.g. denial of Christ's deity, departure from the faith, etc.) indicating that Phil Kidd is not saved? Do you have firsthand evidence or is it all hearsay? Have you heard the man blaspheme Christ or deny Him? What heretical doctrine does he preach? Did you hear this or did someone tell you? Just because the man is opinionated, confrontational, and rude does not make him a heretic or unbeliever.

MAY GOD BE THE JUDGE WHO WILL JUDGE BOTH RIGHTEOUSLY AND JUSTLY!

When I look at a leader I have one question, "Who's living for Jesus Christ because of their life?" If the tree is barren and there is no fruit it is produces nothing but wood.

Who am I to say whom God can use and whom He many not. The fruit is the real test.

I dont doubt Kidd's salvation or his sincerity in what he is doing, matter of fact I love it when he starts in on the faggot's but Kidd is not immune to error. Those of you that are trying to defend Kidd might want to see what he believes about Gen9:22-27 "Ham and the curse" As if Blacks are a cursed people.

showard93, paidagogos, QuickeningSpirit, there realy is no real evidence what you all are saying is true about what Kidd did seeing you or anyone else has not provided explanations to what Preacher Nathan Knight said about the event.
Someone should just call up Sammy Allen and ask him seeing they escorted him out im pretty sure he hasnt forgot about it by now.

And all the other comments is just religious ranting until you guys can back up the event.

    I'll ask them both.

We all know to well things get "spread" around by "word of mouth". I hadn't even heard of this occurance before coming into this thread. No, I am NOT one to listen to such garbage, but it seems since Brother Kidd was with us the very next week after the August Camp Meeting at Faith Baptist, something would have been said.

Also let me add, "IF", and I do mean "IF" this were the situation, I know the caliber of Brother Kidd and Brother Allen, and the reason might be more of protection than rebuke. We all know how people read things into our actions only to defame and demoralize the "brethren".

I will also say that this "type" of occurance would have spread across the "divide" a lot quicker than one might ever think.

Also I have known this type of junk has been told on Brother Kidd many times before. I can't say too much about my character, but I can vouch for Brother Kidd's and Brother Allen's.

As far as this "preacher" nathan mcnight spreading "trash" all across the world via the internet, I can say absolutely nothing in favor of his.

I maintain the "half full" attitude and not the 1/2 empty, either way, the contents of the glass are obviously manure in this "preacher" nathan mcnight's case.

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

I've always been instructed by the Spirit of God to give Him honour and glory, but we all can see where many "wicked" kings tried to rule and reign over the children of God by their endeavours, so my advice is to see what the real purpose of starting this thread was for, and IT DEFINITELY AIN"T TO BRING HONOUR AND GLORY TO GOD!!!!

If you let this type of thing rule over your spirit, then my dear "brother", you fail of the grace of God/ you are a miserable comforter and a failure!

    Sincerely,

    Ricky Underwood

I just had to say that if you know anything about Bro. Kidd then you know he has fruit in his life. My Pastor told me one time that Bro. Kidd was one of the few he would really listen to when it come to preaching on the home because he had seen it first hand that it worked in his home. I am telling you that he has 4 great children....No they are not perfect but they Love the Lord and that says alot especially when you are out of your parents house. One more thing when I look at people like Bro. Kidd or Bro. Allen I think of how hard they preach against sin and alot of times it does seem very hard to swallow but I then look at there life and there famlies and I can say that it pays to live a clean life.

</font>[/QUOTE]Sir, without intending to be brusque, you need to read more carefully with comprehension. What are you asking me to prove? I don’t think it is mere opinion--religious ranting, you called it—when I carefully pointed out that Preacher Nathan Knight failed to meet the Biblical requirement of not receiving an accusation against a man of God except in the mouth of two or three witnesses. (Of course, the copout is to say that he isn’t a man of God.) From Preacher Knights own post, I took the charge to be hearsay. This kind of evidence, so-called, is not admissible in any court that I know and most certainly is anathema in God’s economy. Therefore, Knight violates clear-cut Scripture in posting an unsubstantiated accusation. I have quoted the Scriptures, now, you go back and read them and make the application.

So, what kind of proof do you need? A videotape? I can verify that Phil Kidd spoke in Chesnee, SC at an independent Baptist church with black folks in the audience. This makes suspect the hearsay charge that Knight made. BTW, why didn’t you call or e-mail Sammy Allen yourself?

Furthermore, no one, especially myself, has said that Phil Kidd is not without error. We are all subject to error. (I thought that I made a mistake once but I was wrong. ;) ) In fact, you will find that I said that I had been critical of him in many things and found it ironic that I should be defending the man. Please address the issues, not some irrelevant matter. Don’t be like Bill Clinton who gave the answer to a different question other than the one asked.

    Thanks.

Which he does. He preaches that mixed marriages is unbiblical. He's a moron, plain and simple. He's saved, gifted, and well-versed. But he's still a moron. His error on such a major issue makes his other vies suspect.

If you think mixed marriages are Biblical, let's see your scripture.

Since they do offend the weaker brother, I really believe offending the weaker brother has it's ramifications, so you can't say that mixed marriages don't offend both races, regardless, so the opposition to mixed marriages is Biblical.

Go ahead and try to justify your comprimise by relating to the Ethiopian wife of Moses, but if you study it out indepth, you'll find where she virtually tormented him. So the conclusion of that "example" would fall unde the guidelines of N OT being unequally yoked.

Now don't get me wrong, I know mixed marriages happen and they have children, all having souls that will spend eternioty in Heaven or hell. They need to get born again just like anybody else, but the truth is still the truth, I don't care how much society accepts it.

I do find your calling Bro. Kidd a "moron" to be unscriptural. It may be your opinion of the man, but unless you have documentd proof of his having a learning disability, sir, you bear a false witness and are thereby abomination according to Proverbs 6.

Not only have you discredited yourself with any and all readers of your post, if the addage is true,"It takes one to know one", then you also have identified yourself as the very thing you accuse Bro. Kidd.

There is no such thing as a mixed marriage. That is the product of rascism and evolutionary nonsense. According to Acts 17, we are all from the same blood. The color of one's skin doesn't make anything 'mixed'. Of course, we all saw the long list of Scripture QS used.

QS, you should stop using human argumentation about interracial marriages and mention ONE Scripture in its context, that forbids this type of marriage. Come on, I challenge you! (as you haven't done so, yet except twist Scripture like the Klan might)

I already have, now it's your turn to show any Scripture that distinctly justifies it you arguementative little fellow, instead of pooping off at the keyboard and detracting from the thread. [IMG]

I still would like to see documentation of the alleged incident at Faith Baptist Camp involving Bro. Kidd and Bro. Allen, I think that's what we are all waiting on. Perhaps there is none. It also could be it's really not worth persuing, the latter would be justified in the eyes of the LORD, but we all know many would rather justify it in their own eyes! "There was a time when men did that which was right in their own eyes", and God passed forth JUDGEMENT!

I'd rather have mercy, how 'bout you?

I do not know Bro Kidd. period. You have not in context proved your point on interracial marriage. The example you gave from Numbers 12, about the Ethiopian woman, well notice there what happened to Aaron and Miriam who challenged him about his choice in marriage  BTW, I am not a little fellow, I'm 6' and 225lbs ;) And if you mean this in a figurative sense then you need a "look in the mirror" BTW, this issue has been dealt with elsewhere, the topic called, "Race Mixing in Marriage", I think that you'd be enlightened by most of the posters, who agree with me of course [IMG] so, in that I have followed you in detracting from the thread :D

So? I'm 5'9" @ 250, solid as a rock and real hard to hurt, but that doesn't speak for my "helpers".

This thread IS about Dr. Kidd and your "opinion" of the man, BUT it seems you have "other" issues. There was a lady with an issue in the Book of mark 6, and when she touched the Hem of His Garment, her issue dried up, I suggest you do the same.

Sir, it's societies problem, and neither you nor I can straighten out society.

In your remarks about Aaron and Miriam, let me remind you that they DO represent society and acted upon their prefernce, and since God IS NOT a respecter of persons it is ludicrous to attribute what He did to these two as a direct result of their disagreement on the issue of the Ethiopian wife. All I have done is remind people of the consequences due to their decisions.

God opened up the earth andit swallowed up those who brought false accusation against the man of God due to their insipid idiocy to think themselves something when they are NOT!

Society has always had a problem with righteousness, so where do you fit in? I do see you confirm the reputation of the residents of Queens by your post in boasting your size and weight.

This is not a threat of any kind, but just good advice: I don't care how big, mean, and tough you think you are, but I have yet to see aman stand up and being hit with a 44 mag. So consider the next time before you boast, a man does have the right to defend himself, and whether or not he is right or wrong, the one shot is nearest to death. Let me repeat myself, this is in no way a threat, just good simple advice.

If you care to start a topic on the issue then start a thread, but stick to the topic, o.k.?

I don't need to give a single observable fact when there is a general pattern of behaviour, as evidenced on his Web site and through his sermons that I have heard, and through the stories that I have heard from others that suggest he is a false professor. I cite his treatment of his audience (including is racial remarks which at best are extremely tasteless), the vacuousness of the message "preached," and his pugilistic demeanour as three examples. I see nothing of the fruit of the Spirit evidenced in his public figure.

Add to that the distinctly false teachings that he publicly promotes. His views on interracial marriage and the KJV are the most obvious examples. I take a remark like "If your Bible isn't a KJV, throw it on the ground and we'll take it out with the rest of the trash" (or words to that effect) to be about as close to blasphemy as one can get.

And fruit falls close to the tree. Did you ever read the guestbook on his Web site? I actually saw one of Kidd's disciples offer to go and kill someone who had made a disparaging remark about Phil's son. I have no reason to believe he was joking; it's not much better if he was merely exaggerating.

"By your fruit you will know them."

    Ransom,

    You are a talebearer!

Proverbs 26:20 Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.
Proverbs 26:22 The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

    Then why did you?

May we attribute your statement as a pttern of general behaviour of contention?

To attribute what some one stated as mere fact, whom I quote "I'm not right with God", indicating their being a "disciple" of Dr,. Kidd's is just another example of the insanity propagated on this thread.

Brother Kidd denounced the post, Oh! So you didn't report that, TALEBEARER!
