What happens if a christian deliberately sins?

God disciplines thoses He loves, if your not disciplined then your not His.

Christians do sin, is not all sin 'willful'?

Discipline is not nice at the time but afterwards produces the peacable fruit of righteousness. God is the Perfect Father and He knows how to deal with us all!

 

A 'deliberate' sin is just another sin. All sin is deliberate; it is the obedience of one's (the 'old man's) will to one's (the 'old man's) will. Original sin was deliberate, so all subsequent sin of whomever - even of the regenerate! If ALSO against one's will, sin is the deliberation of someone saved by grace; it ALSO remains a sin forgiven already through grace alone.

 

"... the blasphemy against the Spirit ..."

When is sin no more just sin but 'blasphemy against the Spirit'? When it is sin that "shall not be forgiven". It is not the grade of sin that determines whether it is 'the blasphemy against the Spirit', but the person -- he who is not forgiven his sins because judged by God unforgiveable, shall not receive forgiveness for his sins.

 

It is not the grade of sin or one's deliberation to commit a sin that makes it 'the blasphemy against the Spirit' or unforgiveable --- but the reprobate's irreversable nature and determination.

 

'Grade', "degree", or "type" - makes no difference --- sin is sin. It is the man who is not forgiven his sins that dies --- not his sin unless with him.
