    Putin retaliated for the sanctions by not allowing US Astronuts to fly to the "International" Space Station? Would it become the Russian Space Station? :laugh:

    Maybe Russia could send up some hardware.

    As long as we're paying $71 million dollars a head for the ride, Putin will never do that. I'm pretty sure the Little Marxist Dictator knew this would be the case when he directed NASA to retire the shuttle fleet early. Each orbiter was design-capable of 400 flights. We used them about 60 times each. Go figure.

    America abandoned its manned space program 30 or 40 years ago. Thate last manned vehicle we designed was the space schuttle. I actually worked on that in the early 70's as an engineer working for a NASA contractor. We chose to spend our money on useless wars like Viet Nam, Afghanistan and Iraq. Now we're reaping the benefits of that decision.
