So, it doesn't matter to you that they are saved from an eternity in hell because of Billy Graham's preaching. It just matters that we believe MV's are corrupt. Yeah, I gotcha.
    --------------------------------------------------

How do you know that anyone of them have been saved? Have you never heard of false confessions? Do you understand that this is a very common thing in these crusades? Do you condone that Billy Graham sends these supposedly saved individuals to such churches? He has preached them the positive only gospel and is responsible to make sure they are sent to a church that believes and teaches the whole gospel of Jesus Christ, not to those that preach ANOTHTER GOSPEL. It might do you well to stop trying to defend men such as this, and rather warn others of them.

If a Catholic person believes that Jesus was crucified for our sins and that His blood alone saves then I consider him my brother.

    --------------------------------------------------

The Roman Catholic church teaches and believes in a FALSE GOSPEL and a FALSE JESUS that is ACCURSED OF GOD. They are not my brothers and sisters in Christ, because they are not in the true Christ to begin with because they are taught and believe in a DIFFERENT CHRIST, and NOT THE CHRIST of the scriptures.

In case you didn't know Michelle the catholic NT is the same as ours - except it's not the KJV.

Who told you that the Catholics don't worship Christ?

Michelle, I'm going to get REAL blunt here. Your responses are just getting flat ridiculous.

You are so mad that we disagree with you that this post shows just how ridiculous they are.

Yes, Michelle, I'm sure that there was never a single person saved during a Billy Graham crusade. Every single one had to be fake.

You know what? In my opinion, if one single person came to know the Lord because of Billy Graham's preaching, it was worth an entire lifetime of preaching. Let's count how many people we (including myself) have led to the Lord. Let alone the bad doctrine we taught them. Such as the KJV is the ONLY Bible in the English language that is translated properly.

You really need to sit back and read what you are writing, or at least think about them before you write them. Then if they are as ridiculous....well, I don't know what to say. All I know is that in your eyes we are all pretty stupid and in your eyes it is your responsibility to teach us where we are all wrong because you must have some connection to God that is lacking in all of us.

Sorry, but I am a little bit tired of you turning a discussion into such a ridiculous response as the one I'm replying to here.

Can you not see how ridiculous it sounds to debate back by saying there are false decisions for Christ? Sure, Michelle, I'm sure every single one of them are false, you are right, as usual. And I'm going to go to church and sin tomorrow by reading my NKJV.

You seem to be able to study half way decently, but you need to learn that you don't have every single answer in the world.

You go and complain that we call you KJVonly, because that is a title that best describes your point of view. You believe the KJV is the ONLY correct English translation, even though you CANNOT show any scripture that proves it.

Then you go off like the poor victim who is right, but none of the big, evil Christians on this board will listen to the little martyr who tries to save them all from the pits of reading a modern English translation.

    Sad..........

Actually, it isn't "word for word", as some words didn't translate as one word. So, the KJV DOES add in the translation. There are also spots where fewer words are used. It's just a fact of life Michelle. It has been pointed out to you time and time again. Time to face the truth.

    1. Is it a sin to use a modern version?

    2. If the answer to #1 is yes, will anyone who uses a modern version inherit eternal life?

    3. If the answer to #1 is yes, I assume your church would exercise biblical discipline towards a brother who insists on using a modern version. Unless restoration occurs, you are to treat the brother as a tax collector. In other words, does the unrepentant use of modern versions lead to a break in fellowship?

    --------------------------------------------------

No, I wouldn't say it is a sin. I would not become a member of a church however, that uses them, knowing what I know about them. I do fellowship with those that use the NASB, as I take a Bible study on the book of Revelation at another church, that uses this version. I don't use this version for this study, I use my Bible, because the study itself does not require my use of this version.

Michelle, if we were to live by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God, there would be so many words that even the world could not contain it, according to scripture. We do not have EVERY WORD God ever spoke.

They just might be making a change in the Catholic Church. Wouldn't that be great.
    --------------------------------------------------

God says to separate. They have been referred to a church that teaches a false Jesus and a false gospel for their fellowship. WE are commanded to not yolk ourselves with unbelievers, or those that teach and preach a false gospel. We are to share the true gospel with them, but not fellowship with them.

In your book, if someone doesn't believe every little belief you have, then they are "rotten", and it is your duty to correct all of us stupid Christians because you have a direct connection that we don't have. Sorry for being a little blunt here, but you are getting somewhat out of line with this and your other preaching, Michelle.

Rather it is you who show a dislike to the taste of the truth.

Thanks for replying. So, if the use of modern versions is not a sin, then it is a matter of personal preference? If it is a matter of personal preference, why so much heat and passion when someone chooses to use a different version?

    --------------------------------------------------

I used to go to a catholic church prior to my salvation, and my son also went to a Roman Catholic school. God has shown me through the scriptures that they do not worship the true Jesus Christ. They worship a pagan Christ, that is not the Christ of the scriptures. They also worship a little wafer god. The Roman Catholic church is part of the woman who rides the beast. Read her description sometime in the scriptures. It is very pagan.

So, you have statistics on Billy Graham's fruits? Can you share those with us? Just exactly how many Christians is he responsible for?

I never said he was perfect, he is, after all, a human being, who is trying to win souls.

Remember when Paul told his followers to leave others alone if they preach the gospel of Jesus?

This is just a good example of how ignorant of the Billy Graham crusades you are. If you have ever watched him, he preaches the "GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST". You know---Jesus died on the cross to save us sinners? Now, tell me, what is wrong with that?

At least it beats standing there telling all of those lost people that they are carrying the wrong Bible. I wonder what kind of fruits that would reap?

Right, Michelle, I'm going to spend my time warning people not to watch Billy Graham when I don't even take the time to talk to them about Christ myself.

I WILL NOT WARN A PERSON NOT TO WATCH SOMEONE WHO PREACHES THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST!

If you are talking about an obvious fraud (Benny Hinn) for example, then that is another story.

So sad all of those people Billy planted the seed who are in heaven--that today YOU do not CARE what they think.........probably would like to give Billy a big hug right about now.

There is no heat and passion against those who use these versions. It is heat and passion for the truth, and what these versions have evidenced, and that I and others warn others of. Too many here, unfortunately take personal insult, where none is intended.

Your response is in violation of Matthew 28:19,20 which says, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."?

So are you saying that Jesus wrong when he gave the command to make disciples in Matthew 28:19, 20? Or are you saying that you are exempt from making disciples when Jesus gave the command “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." If I recall right Jesus also sent them out two by two to evangelize and make disciples. So when you lead someone to Christ are you saying that you leave it up to someone else to disciple them?

So are you also saying that when someone goes to a country to be a missionary where Christ is not named that the fist person they lead to Christ they are to leave the discipleship up to the others in the community that have not been won yet? A friend of mine is in a country where they cannot start a church and it is illegal to share their faith. So you are saying he should not make a disciple with the first person he wins.

Michelle said:>>>>"This is your opinion that you have lumped all these people into a false label. KJVOism is made up by those who do not want to see the truth about the mv's."

Actually, Michelle, this is not true. KJV Onlyism is a product of people like Peter Ruckman, Jack Hyles, etc., to try and not face the fact that other translations are just as valid as the KJV, allowing them to wield more power over their congregations in their popish positions.

If you have two people go to the same party, are you going to get the same details about every detail? NO! In fact, in the KJV, the four Gospels differ from each other, some leaving things out, others mentioning things others didn't. Does this invalidate one from the other? No. Just as having an MV say the same thing in different words isn't an invalidation of the KJV, nor the KJV and invalidation of the MV's. Sorry, it just doesn't work that way, historically or otherwise.

OH, he may have preached part of the gospel, but then he sent those very souls to apostate churches, and the beast of all the churches - the Roman Catholic Church, to which is in direct disobediance to the words of the Lord, where Paul instructs us that those who bring to us another gospel, or another Christ are accursed of God. This was repeated twice in that same epistle. We are also commanded not to yolk ourselves with those who are unbelievers, to which is the Roman Catholic Church. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing.

To say he is a wolf in sheeps clothing is to negate his salvation, Michelle, and this is a very big mistake on your part. Dr. Graham is saved. His testimony of salvation is sure, just as sure as yours. He may have slipped to the wayside in several areas, but that does not make him a wolf in sheeps clothing. It does however, make you a liar and false accuser of Dr. Graham.

No, I never did, nor do deny this. YOu only mentioned making disciples as part of the fruit. I responded to you that there are more fruits than just discipling, and thank you for posting this scripture, because it clearly shows what I have been saying about the fruits of Billy Graham. He has preached them the gospel, but then he failed to obey all the commandments of our Lord, by sending those he preached to, to churches that preach another gospel and another christ, and therefore they will not be observing all Jesus Christ commanded. They will in fact be taught something else. He obeyed the first part, and the failed on the second, to which overrides the first, and shows he is a wolf in sheeps clothing. He is sending sheep into a den of wolves.
