What is the "law" of Faith?

    No sir I am trying to understand how different scriptures work together such as these:For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, [then] do we with patience wait for [it]. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

    I am trying to work these together using your concept.
    My concept is different but I want to look at both for better understanding.

    Hope is based upon the promise of God's Word. The promise of the gospel is that whosoever believeth in him shall be saved. Faith simply embraces this promise as its hope for eternal life. The substance of faith is what God promises in the good news of the gospel.
