    bmerr here.

    As in all things, we have an obligation to "do all in the name [authority] of the Lord Jesus" (Col 3:17).

    With this in mind, what kind of music should we use in worship if we wish our worship to be within the authority of Christ?

    Talk to you all later.

    In Christ,
    bmerr

    nah...forget the gansta rap, i'm a little more partial to Metallica though!
    Can't we all just worship by head banging to the sixes being rolled on the bass drum by Lars Ulrich in "One"? ROFL!

    Whatever puts you on your face before God.
    And I mean this not metphorically but quite literally.

    In HIS service;

    I prefer traditional music in worship but I recognize that, just because God uses hymns to speak to me, doesn't mean that He won't use other kinds of music to speak to somebody else.
