Compare this to the storm the disciples were in on the Sea of Galilee: Jesus asleep, not dead, in the hinder part of the ship. The disciples eyes on the raging waves not able to see sky nor shoreline to reach their appointed, b y the Lord, destination/ the other side.

Did Jesus design the storm? Or isn't it more of a truth that although he never promised us that we wouldn't go through storms, but rather that He would always be there to go through them with us!

This dilemma of the child being snatched away is definitely a storm.

The purpose of the storm has one initiator, and another who has a propensity to calm the storm by his design.

The propensity to calm the storm rests in His power to overcome the raging waves caused by sin. If this family will learn this, God will be glorified and they will have rest.:godisgood:

Jesus at the tomb of Lazarus...

    Jesus INTENTIONALLY waited..

    Then look what happens...

People basically asked the same question people ask today, "If God is so good, then why do bad things happen?"

    Then Look at Jesus' response...
Jesus waited so that people could see the glory of God.

In the case of the OP.. An Evil person committed an evil deed because God allows man to choose between good and evil.

One thing is illustrated, and that is that God is no respecter of persons. He will have mercy upon whom He will have mercy.

Does God ALWAYS "allow" evil men to choose to do evil things to innocent people?

Thanks for the insight everybody. I definitely have a better understanding of this subject now. I really appreciate the scripture references - helps me with notes in my Bible to understand future situations.
