A slide presentation you've got to see. Gives a very simplified lesson on what is the root cause of the Islamo/Fascists/Terrorists and their agenda.

This is the story as it is rarely told, but it should be repeated over again. There have been Jews on the Middle East for centuries; there were more Jews in Jerusalem than Arabs; when the Jews were forced out of the Arab lands after 1948, they were settled and given lives in Israel, while the so-called Palestinians were put into ghetto camps by their Arab brothers.

The Jews and Arabs had lived side-by-side for centuries, with little conflict.

Thanks for posting this, and it is very accurate. There are some around here, though, who will say it isn't.....

People with full bellies and bright futures, for the most part, tend to not be involved in commiting acts of terror.

No disrespect meant to the person but this is the dumbest thing I have heard in a while. It ranks just above supporting non tax payers who want to kill police officers who come to arrest them for their convited felony.

Agreed. The 19 hijackers is just one example that proves the fallacy of that statement that "People with full bellies and bright futures, for the most part, tend to not be involved in commiting acts of terror."

Not really. Did you not notice the word "tend"?

I am amazed at how often on this board that a statement made with a qualifier is responded to as if the statement had no qualifier. Oh, well. Such is life.

"The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and then. It is like a storm in the atmosphere." -Thomas Jefferson
