    In 1959, the Ohio legislature adopted the state's motto, "With God all things are possible."

    The atheists are still mad & bitter about it.

    But the state motto remains. [​IMG]

    Hey, we've been cooking eggs on Washington's
    no-longer-green grass lately. Whew! It is so hot
    here that I can't see across the street for the steam
    risin'!

    It is so hot here that you don't have to light the
    coals--just throw the steaks on the grill and let
    them sit there for a few minutes. Gotta watch
    'em, though, or there won't be any rare ones.

    It's so hot here that all the pig farmers just have
    bacon lying all around in their sties.

    Virginia has eight:

    Of course, none of these fellows were the president of the Republic of Texas...

    I live in Canada now, but I was raised in Delaware. Wasn't born there, nope; Mama and Dad lived in Delaware just a few miles from Philly when I was born, but I had to be born in a 'burb of Philly 'cause that's where the doctor was. But, deep down in my heart, I'm a Delawarean. So, do I get to vote? Do I, do I?

    Oh, never mind, I've been up here so long now, no one ever asks me anymore if I'm 'Merkun.

    :confused: I think I'll go have a good cry now.
