Are you calling me a liar? Please respond with facts and not personal attacks. Can you do that?

Might I remind all to be careful with words in a REAL world here on the BB? Calling folks "liars" or questioning motives of the heart are NOT acceptable under the Bush or Obama administration.

    Thanks. :saint:

In order to be "politicaly correct" in here let me say that in my opinion this statement is untrue. Unless the poster can give undisputed facts that prove their statement.

    Was that careful enough?

And that brings up an interesting querstion, what constitutes a depression.

So far this is the best definition I have found:

We are definitely in a recession and a severe one. Some of the elements in the definition are happening in our country now.

Does anyone know what is the "official" definition of a depression? I'll keep looking.

This is my post and the response. I don't see your point and I don't see the word "all."

Interesting how the OP identifies several Republicans as banners of the much sought after and beloved conservativism which is bonded to evangelical Christianity.

One of the sad things is that evangelicalism is so much more than Republicanism. It is so much more than the one or two political issues that so many seek to define it by in our modern context.

So much rhetoric gets poured on earnest Christians by those in certain corners of evangelicalism we've lost our capacity for hospitality with each other.

There are significant questions and issues out there. But how we respond to each other is just as important as standing for those issues.

How will I act in an Obama world? The exact same as in a Bush, Clinton, or Reagan world. There isn't much difference when it comes down to it for the Bible believing Christian. Anyone who really believes that one man in a circular office is going to either raise or lower the bar of the Church is sorely mistaken in my opinion.

I'll reiterate what I've said formerly. I like our new President and hope the best for him in his life. I don't agree with everything he does or believes but I sure think he's got some great things in the works. He isn't the enemy. :)

I just wanted to see how you would react to being treated the way you treated me. It's not very comfortable to be on the receiving end of these slurs and innuendo's. So I suggest that you stop doing it.

The OP reminded me of the saying, "When your God is big the world seems small. When your God is small the world seems big."

Prov. 21:1 "The king's heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He wishes."

I was not in the least uncomfortable speaking the truth. I have come to expect whining and crying from liberals (after all that is the only way they can try to defend their lies). But, I still pray for them, I pray that they will find the truth of God's word and get away from satan's jiberish (tho it is told in a way to ease the conscience of the sinner)
