I do not know the exact day of the Lord's coming, but I do know he comes as a thief, in times like Lot, and in times like Noah. Normal everyday times and unexpecting.

I believe in the seven churches as congregations...

Ephesus - Messianic - Beginning with the Apostle to the Circumcision, Peter
Smyrna - Martyr - Beginning with the Apostle to the Un-Circumcision, Paul
Pergamos - Orthodoxy formed in this time... Pergos is a tower... Needed in the dark ages
Thyatira - Catholicism formed in this time - The spirit of Jezebel is to control and to dominate.
Sardis - Protestantism formed in this time- A sardius is a gem - elegant yet hard and rigid
Philadelphia - Wesleyism formed in this time - To be sanctioned is to acquire it with love.
Laodicea - Charismatic movement formed in this time - Beginning with DL Moody, the first to make money off of ministry

And they seem all alive in this day and time. I believe that the coldness of Laodicea sets us up for the Lord's coming..

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition - 2 Thessalonians 2:3

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. - Matthew 24:12

    In which the Lord councils....

42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord, when he cometh, shall find so doing.
44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath. - Luke 12

It pertains to we Christians to be obedient to the teachings of God's word. In the sermon below the young associate pastor warns not to be overly-conformed to this words standards...

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. - Revelation 16:15

I would be careful, in this day and time, in what I am into to. It is like the Lord to come in times of Belshazzar, who was in a party scene, until the handwriting appeared to him on the wall.
