It was once something the courts held close to their heats, and when someone lied under oath, they were sure to face charges of perjury.

There are a few folks, namely Michael Brown's partner in crime, that should be facing charges for lying with the intent to put an innocent man behind bars and ruin his life forever. Even so, his initial lies and continued insistence on telling a whopper of a fib, against a good young cop, just doing his job and then fighting to be able to go home and see his wife and be there for the birth of his unborn child, cost this cop his career.

Plus the cop and his loved ones are in danger of retaliation, and what for? The hate for cops being played off the infamous race card.

So what happened to arresting and trying a person for intentional perjury? Worse yet, what's happened to the respect for our laws?

For my two-cents worth, it all goes back to those at the top of corporations and the government, and their contempt for integrity and the laws. Too many live like they are above the law. Just last week, the president went against the rule of law to allow millions of individuals, who intentionally broke our laws, receive their Get Out Of Jail Free card. What does that say to the rioters in Ferguson? Not to worry, no one will arrest you for fear of being a racist law enforcement employee out of control and on a power trip!
