Good morning, Sherrie! Just so you willl know,
you can pick it up used at nearly any used book
    store; that's how I got mine for 25 - 50 cents. It

Since most people get their theology from television or movies, my oddball list would have severe spiritual overtones:</font>
    • Field of Dreams</font>
    • Star Wars</font>
    • Sound of Music</font>
    • Scrooged</font>
    • The Bible</font>

Awwww...they beat me to mentioning A Man Called Peter...I guess that's what I deserve for getting to the movie late huh? [IMG]

I had quick read through list, hopefully I am not repeating anyone here:

    It's A Wonderful Life
You Can't Take It With You (love granpa's prayer)
    Sister Act I & II
Rooster Cogburn (Katharine Hepburn preaching to the Duke)
Leap Of Faith (hang on, is that a movie or a documentary... ;) ) (sorry ;) )

    Just saw the apostle again.

It doesn't come that highly recommended by me, but I find I know people like this.

    Hey Adam,

Tolkien was a Christian and contemporary of Lewis and G.K. Chesterton.

He said many times that, while he was happy that Christians saw parallels between the Lord of the Rings and the Gospel, it was just a coincidence.

He said that the books deal with good and evil and sin and redemption so because he was a Christian and that was what he thought about a lot, but it wasn't any deliberate attempt to write an allegorical tale.
