I find very often that the person claiming to be bullied is often just as guilty as bullying. It is easier to perceive it on the receiving end than the giving end.

Or you can your take some advice from "SUE"

    HIS dad took action

Johnny Cash told us the story

In another thread, I said we are a nation of whimps, well sometimes we need to stand up and say something.

The problem here on the BB is, thankfully, far easier to handle than in real life. I simply avoid the threads where I know the bully hangs out and do not contribute to those discussions. I employ the ignore button so if he happens to come on to a thread where I am participating I do not see his comments. If, perchance, someone else comments and I see theirs and the discussion becomes heated I simply quit the thread.

There is NO REASON to be bullied on the Baptist Board. I believe it's up to each person to police themselves and judge whether or not it's worth the stress and aggravation of dealing with certain people. When I find myself in those situations I simply move on.

There's nothing to be gained by dealing with these people. You'll not change their minds, no matter what you say. There are certain subjects on which I rarely comment, simply on general principle for that very reason. When people are firm in their mindset (KJVO vs modern versions is a good example) it matters not what someone else says those who believe KJVO are never going to change and modern version people are never going to accept their point of view and vice versa. I see no future in wasting my time arguing over it.

These people should be reported, by anyone who witnesses the bullying and appropriate action should be taken by the moderators. Speaking of which, I don't know if they've become more liberal and tolerant lately but I've seen a lot of comments made where, in the past, those threads would have been closed and posters disciplined. There will always be rude, opinionated, meanhearted people in this world, and on this board. When you encounter them the best defense is prayer and to move on.

Thank you very much. I think that is the standard sentiment of the world about those who hold to the bible. :applause:

Most people who have high regard for the Bible capitalize the 'B'. I think that was taught in third grade grammar. [offensive post deleted]

You question my Christian walk because I do not agree with you.

Since the moderator seems to be selectively editing posts, I will go no further than to say you are shooting from the hip without any knowledge of what you speak.

Take note that I do not call into question your Christian walk.

Stop engaging them and go find something else to do. There are no captive audiences here. There is an ignore list, there is other threads, there are just other things in life to do. Move on

Please define what you are meaning, as sometimes, especially in cal?arm discussions, they can get heated!
