When did the N.T. church begin?

    This concerns teh gospel message, not the start of the church.

    Where is it said that "the church" was assembled? (Answer: Nowhere.)

    How so? If Spirit baptism is what constitutes the church (1 Cor 12:13), and if Spirit baptism is still future in the gospels (Matt 3:11, Mark 1:8, Luke 3:16; Acts 1:5ff.), and if Spirit baptism happens for the first time in Acts 2, then how did the church begin before that? In other words, how did the church begin before the thing that created the church happened?? It doesn't makes sense.
