Anybody got exciting travel or activity plans for the year? Exotic or domestic? Land, Sea or Air?

Guadalupe Peak, in Texas. Traveling by air, hiking on foot, God willing. Waiting until mid-May.

Today I am picking up my husband in Charlotte and we are vacationing WITHOUT children. That's exciting in my book.

After traveling through Japan, Hawaii, Germany, Switzerland and Turkey in the last 6 years, we are getting ready to make our most exciting trip yet..........

At the end of the month we are going to drive from VA to Mo with a 6yr old, 3yr old and a 6 month old baby... How's that for an adventure?

I won't be traveling far but it will be a trip of interest. My brother and I are traveling to my father's hometown to visit his gravesite. Neither of us had a good relationship with our father and I in fact said I would never return to the town and didn't want anything to do with his family. Now I have become a Christian and understand that I need to forgive my father. I will be meeting family I never met before. It might be tense but worth it.

March: trip to Santa Barbara and on to San Diego for visits and meetings.

April: speaking in New Zealand the first week. In Australia the second week.

Rest of the year not yet scheduled!

Right now I get to be at home and quiet and painting the family room, working on an article, reading, -- all the quiet things I really love doing! Kids are healthy, and so am I -- all at once in the winter. That's lovely!

We are traveling this weekend to Kansas City, MO to hear Mark Lowry. We hope to do some historical exploring too, since the Oregon trail started near there.

When school gets out, we hope to travel to Michigan and see my in-laws. Our children have not seen their grandparents there for seven years. Please pray that we would have an opportunity to get there this year.

In June, we plan on traveling to Casper, WY, home of the infamous Dr. Bob. ;) Only we are not going there to see him, but to attend a friend's wedding.

I wanted to go to Germany in summer 2003 ( i would have to start saving a planning now) but the person I was going to stay with may not be there then. Of course, that may mean that she will come home to South Ga. [IMG] So, I guess the most interesting place I will be going is school.

    Hootie hooooooo.

Salt Lake City, Utah, February 2002, for one week, with nine people from church, (and my wannabe man) to the Olympics. I am just way too excited, but I guess I need to pray, because I ain't there until I am on the airplane.

May 2002--travel about the country side of North Carolina with an Okie friend.

June, 2002--Summer camp about two hours away

July, 2002--I wish I could say I was going to the Ukraine again--please pray for this to happen. God knows what it will take.
