    Hi Everyone,

Is it possible to buy copies of these manuscripts from someplace:

    *Textus Receptus
    *Critical Text
    *The Sinai manuscript
    *The Vatican Manscript

Thanks for all of your help!

    hv u tried Amazon.com?

i believe Trinitarian Bible Soc used to sell some edition of TRs, n i'd guess they still do.

most reputable bookstores, secular or seminary/Christian, wld carry some form of Critical Text--Nestle-Aland 27th edition, UBS 3rd edition, or something.

good facsimiles of Sinaiticus n Vaticanus cld set u back, if they're not out of print n no longer available, but some pages might be displayed in Text Crit textbooks. a friend of mine visited the British Museum n gt to see the real Sinaiticus.

I would go to a search engine I use google.com and search for what you are looking for. You could print what you want and save yourself some money... Just another suggestion... Brother Glen [IMG]

Hi. don't know if you care about online Greek NT's, but here are a few links worth checking.
http://www.awmach.org/framesets/bibles.html (combined Greek texts, transliterated – Stephanus TR, Scrivener TR, Alexandrian, Byzantine Majority) Varning! Site is probably Campbellite so shun the other stuff.
    http://www-users.cs.york.ac.uk/~fisher/gnt/chapters.html (Alexandrian, Greek letters)
    http://www1.uni-bremen.de/~wie/GNT/books.html (Westcott-Hort w. NA26/27 variants, Greek letters)
http://www.speedbible.com/pargreek/index.htm (Parallell Greek texts – Scrivener TR 1894, Stephanus TR 1550, Byzantine Majority, Alexandrian, Greek letters)

    Hi Jamal...

I've came across a few sources that offer the Textus Receptus for sale, although, I don't remember them for certain right now.

I'll compile a short list of those sites and post back to you. I had looked for it myself as I would like to have a copy of it, too.

    Take care,

These are good links. I especially liked two of them, one of which included the speedbible. I think a lot of scholars and pseudo-scholars will find these texts and translations provide a lot of information they will be looking for. Thank you very much for the information! :D

Glad to hear you appreciated the information, Philip. The WWW kind of is a real goldmine if one knows what to look for.
I just found a full concordance for the Textus Receptus at one site. The same site also had a concordance for the Hebrew Old Testament (Masoretic Text). Much more good stuff could be mentioned. I might post some links if I remember.

Here is a download site for the Textus Receptus if you're interested in that: http://www.afii.org/grtrkjv.html

You can also download the TANAKH (Hebrew Scriptures) from that same site.

You can order the TR from Trinitarian Bible Society. Here's a link that contains necessary information: http://biz.ukonline.co.uk/trinitarian.bible.society/branches/us/us-frgn.htm

Pilkington & Sons offers it for sale: http://www.pilkingtonandsons.com/books.htm
Their offering is actually published by Trinitarian Bible Society

I had a couple of other sites that offered the Textus Receptus for sale, but, I can't seem to locate them now. It's possible that I've deleted them or have merely forgotten them or over looked them. If I do happen to find those links, I'll post them.

Here's something I happened across that's pretty interesting... an offering for the "1550 TEXTUS RECEPTUS FOLIO GREEK N.T. BIBLE" at eBay auctions. http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1403747081. The "Buy it Now" price... a paltry $12,500.00. That's a liitle more than I can afford, lol, but check it out... some great pictures, not to mention some interesting information!!! There are also some other offerings by the seller that include pictures that make for some pretty interesting viewing.

    Take care,

I figured I might give some good links as this thread seems like a link thread. These are such which have bearing on the New Testament in the main, and its study and interpretation. Some one might profit from them, hopefully.
