Please do not make this a debate thread. I just wanted to get a feel about where everyone is.

Feel free to use the common 3point or 4point or 1point...

I'm a calvinist. My pastor holds calvinistic beliefs and preaches consistent with them.

Outside of our two families, I doubt anyone in our church of about 30 would know what you were talking about. They are definitely milk level Christians.

BTW, our two families are also the only ones actively and consistently involved in evangelism.

My synagogue is Calvinist. Having left an Armin-
    ian church, I am learning.

    Me - solidly 5-point Calvinist/Spurgeonite.

Church - solidly 1-point once saved, always saved conservative Southern Baptist.

Me 5-point; pastor of Grider Memorial; and many members are 5-point; we also have several, including one ordained preacher who lean toward at least 4-point, from statements I have heard.

Ex: "It is not true to preach or teach man in so total depravity he cannot move until moved upon by the Holy Spirit."

This statement, if believed, is not consistent with 5-pt. Calvanism.

    God Bless,
    Bro. Dallas

Zero pointer [IMG] , (completely non-Calvinist) but I do believe in the biblical doctrine of OSAS - which is not a strict Calvinist doctrine. :D

It's too bad that the 55% doesn't realize that "once saved always saved" is a reality because of the other 4 points of Calvinism. If the other 4 points were not true then there would be no eternal security, or no salvation either.

I'm 0-4 points, depending on how terms are defined. [IMG]

Oh great! My 800th post and I'm talking about Calvinism. I resolved to restrict my posts on this topic to 0-4%!

I believe that a sovreign God can create a free-will system no matter what Calvin and his followers say. I believe that I believe more in His sovreignty than they do. If I have to choose a name Calamin, but I say let Calvin and Arminus rest in peace and just do the Bible.

I am a Baptist. I was never part of the Catholic Church and therefore not a Protestant.

    Amen Bro. Jim!

I just preach the Bible. If Calvin happened to agree with me, I guess that makes him a "Pastor Bobist." I would probably agree with 3 points without to much trouble.

I also agree with Luther in some areas but that does not make me Lutheran. I agree with Wesley in areas but that does not make me Methodist.

I believe the Word of God and try to follow the example of the Son of God. He was baptized by John the Baptist. I guess that good enough for me.

When Calvin or more specificly his followers are in agreement with Scripture, we agree with him and them. When they do not, we part company. Regretfully for man's curiousity, God did not lay things out quite as plainly as men want it to be. He connected the dots that needed to be connected, but there are dots that He didn't connect. This throws alot of Calvinism into Catagory 2 if not 3 truth.
