You mean overnight, when I'm home? In the garage. When I come home to sleep during the day, I leave it on the driveway, unless weather makes it advisable to put it under cover.

We have a carport that fits 2 cars, but we don't always get them both in there. Our minivan usually is there, my run around car gets parked in there or on the driveway,

I voted "other" for two reasons.

    1. I dont park IN the street, I park at the curb:laugh:

    2. In addition, we have odd / even parking.
Each evening at 6 pm, I have to move my car from the "odd side" to the "even side" and vicea versa. The side is based on house number. ie my house number is 407 - so on odd days I park on my side of the street.

The reason for all this - with some 150 inches of snow per year, the streets have to regualry be plowed. Sometimes 3x a day!

ps, should I make Mrs Salty move her car, or should I do it?:praying:

I voted IN the street, but I park ON the street at the curb.

If someone would like to donate a garage, we have plenty of room in the back for you to build it. :tongue3:

I park my truck in the driveway. My wife gets to keep her car in the garage.

    Saggy,

Are you counting just the cars that run? I didn't see "on blocks" anywhere so I can't account for a big part of the fleet.

I usually get the street because the wife parks her car right at the front door which leaves no room in the driveway for me. If I get home first I have to pull all the way up in the driveway so she can fit. I love this 50/50 stuff...

Had to take Other -- these assume an urban setting. We have a circular -- well, it's really not, when I think about it... We have a couple of 'streets' heading in different directions -- to the barn, to the shop, to the back of the house where there's a parking pad before the garage -- but none really fit 'driveway.'

David has 3 garages, In one is his A40 truck, in another is his Lanchester, and in the other ..... along with a freezer, piles of newspspers waiting to be soaked, pressed into fuel blocks and dried for the fire, the overspill from Sallys house, tools, paint, millions (well it seems like by the cobwebs) of spiders sits his Rover, which probably feels a bit squashed.

I chose other because I park in my carport.

Question: Why do you park on a driveway but drive on a parkway?

We park in the driveway because I use the garage as a place to go to study the Bible and Prayer.
