We will go to my sisters house in North Little Rock, Arkansas like we do every year and there will be no turkeys pardoned at our celebration that day. If those turkeys want a pardon, they will have to go to Governor Huckabee's house.

Staying home. Both our kids & their families will all come here for the festivities.

Love to have them, but sure do relax when they're gone. My wife will curl up on the couch (her nest), & I'll stretch out in my Lazy-boy rare back for a long winter nap. [IMG]

Love to see 'em come, & love to see 'em go! [IMG] [IMG]

Vegas. I need to go pick up my marriage license prior to the big day in January. I don't want to wait until the last minute.

Aye! My fiance and I (dating for 2 yrs, engaged since the start of fall) are getting married at the beginning fo the year in Vegas. No cheesy Vegas wedding though. We're having a Star Trek themed wedding, on the bridge of the Enterprise-D, at Star Trek:The Experience at the Hilton. This to the dismay of her friends and the envy of mine [IMG]

We will drive about 45 minutes to my mom's. She lives right between Smyrna and Murfreesboro. From there, the whole fam will go to Ponderosa for the AYCE buffet.

Can't wait till Christmas...that's when we put the aprons on and cook, cook, cook!!!

We're having Thanksgiving and Christmas at our house. Generally, it's either just us or we get together with some friends but this year our son and the two girls who share the condo with him are coming here for Thanksgiving.

I'll have to provide daycare both up til Christmas day and the day after Thanksgiving.

Our daughter and her kids say they're coming for Christmas but they've said that for 5 years and haven't made it yet. :(

We dont know yet. My mosther was sick last year and my brother was in Iraq so we didnt get together. THis year, my bro is going to his inlaws out of town, ao I dont know what my side of the family will do. DH's mother says its too stressful for her to get a holiday meal together. She likes for me to do it every year, even though we have two toddlers and are "financially challenged". [IMG] I don't mind doing it, really, I dont. Its just the expectation, and then I feel like nothing is good enough. So I am suggesting we get together and go to Morrison's. Then I can see my mom and grandmother that evening. Everyone lives in the same town, 2 and 1/2 hours from here.

It's not a holiday overhere yet. But not to long ago Halloween, Valentine's day and the American secular version of Christmas weren't holidays overhere either.
I have a standing bet with our headpastor, he thinks Thanksgiving is the next American holiday that they will try to force on an unsuspecting European public, I think they'll do st. Patricks day first.
