I agree wholeheartedly. Grover Norquist has been elected to nothing. The idea that Republicans would make a pilgrimage to bow before Norquist's tax pledge is disgusting. I have communicated my thoughts to both SC Senators and my Representative as well as the local paper. My understanding is that Senator Graham is rethinking his position. I was pleased that Senator Chambliss has renounced his apostasy.

I am not indicating my position on the progressive income tax. It is a matter of principle to me. The allegiance of elected officials is to the Constitution not Grover Norquist!
