There has certainly been a different system of justice for the Kennedy's than us common folks. In fact there is a different system of justice in DC for Republicans than democrats.

And why is it that Daschle is not paying interest and penalties on these taxes?

I say him on the news this morning saying that he is sorry that he did not know that "borrowing a car from a personal friend" is income.

One of those apoliogies without an admission of guilt...

    ...he's so innocent. :saint:

It seems anyone who voted for Palin was also approving a tax cheat...

Like I said, I don't think tax problems are limited to Democrats...

Sad to see your lack of honesty on this:

Not the same thing as the failed democratic nominees.

Lack of honesty in taxes and other things is a common trait among the libs.

LB presented this story to be equal to the tax problems the Dems have had. They are not even remotely close. It is possible he did not read the whole story but only the first paragraph.

How about this article, how about last years list of the 20 most corrupt members of congress? Will this redeem me for my mistake?

I see. Because you when shown to leap before you look you decide to deflect by changing the subject.

No one asked you to pick up this old thread and attempt to deflect from Daschle's ethical problems by trying to drag Palin into it without the benefit of actually reading the article.

You must have been so excited to slander Palin that you couldn't even bother to read the article.

Just man up and walk away.

LB admitted he was wrong. Let him go on that one.

However, his posting a list of the most corrupt congressmen is hardly better. We don't know anything about this source. It should be viewed with extreme skepticism most likely. IT is another lame attempt to avoid the real issues.

I looked through the reasons the source is claiming corruption. It claims McConnell is corrupt because of earmarks. Equivocating that to dodging taxes is a failed comparison.

Really? Quite contrary to the earmark spending bill you support.

Contrary to the GOP attacks, there is no earmarks in this bill. All we hear is accusations but no one can specifically point out the earmarks...

Just stop. money for a mouse is an earmark. That is just the beginning of it. The whole thing is one big earmark.

You see, that is the problem. That is just another GOP twisting of facts and shows how their simple minds are struggling to find real pork in the bill.

The truth is the $30 million is the total amount that the California Coastal Conservancy, a state agency, recommended more than a month ago to numerous federal agencies, looking for lists of "shovel ready" projects as part of the stimulus bill planning. This venture includes five major ongoing wetlands restoration projects totaling nearly 4,000 acres, of which the "mouse" concern is a very small part.

You see, you guys don't want to know the truth, you are only interested in finding fault and pointing fingers at the people who are at least trying to get us out of this jam. If there were legitimate pork, I don't think Boehner would have to stretch the truth like this.

    Exactly and earmark

No matter how many different ways you twist words it is what it is. Earmarks from page 1 to the last page
