No fan of Obama here, but I'll explain it for you. You know what I'm about to say, you won't acknowledge it, but I'll say it anyway.

"he’s responsible every day for this economy" = Obama is dealing with the current economy on a daily basis

"he is not" = Obama is not directly responsible for the shape our economy is in. Many decisions, actions, and factors (many of which happened before he was in office) are responsible for the shape our economy is in.

    Well Said....

If you believe this, than you have to give the same pass to every POTUS to ever serve. I would agree with the context of your thoughts. The economy is like sin, it is passed down to each of us, and we can either do something about the sin, or let it ride to the end!

I believe EACH POTUS has decided to let it ride, and Obama is paying for the sin of all those who came before him, and he will pass on this mess to the next guy, ow woman, in the WH.

Carney tripped over his own feet.

But the bottom line is that Obama continues to blame every aspect of the economy on Bush. The question the reporter asked deserves an answer, not an excuse. Just when does the economy become Obama's? The answer is easy...when it gets better and he can take credit.

Here's a flash: It's not going to happen. Obama's "solutions" do more harm than good. So what we have is a president who, in his own mind, will never own the economy. Never. It will belong to Bush until Obama is fired.

    Obama is Afraid....

.....To take ownership of anything because he knows it will be his legacy! It's plausible deniability, and he is the master of this!

History will tell his story, and he'll have to spend the remainder of his life with what historians proclaim as fact!

All that is just standard politics. Lies and denials. It is not just with this president as every president has done it as far as I can tell. If you think this president is bad about passing the buck then just put in Rick Perry and you will know bad. It is too bad that neither party has a candidate that is responsible. Yes this president needs to go, but who to replace him with is the big question.
What we need to an honest man who has the ability to rule well. He is coming, but it will be costly to many and even many in the church.

But its just not the President - We need a Congress that will keep spending under control - and by deleting unnecessary programs. - and that is the decision of 435 separate Congressional Districts -

Look at this way, suppose 6 congressman want to buy one large pizza at a special price of $6.99 (a small would be $4.99); but the entire pizza must have the same toppings.
    #1 wants cheese
    #2 wants ham & cheese
    #3 wants Pineapple and ham
    #4 wants bacon & onions
    #5 wants onions & Pepperoni
    #6 wants Pepperoni and Pineapple

So how do those 6 compromise as no more than 2 congressman want the same toppings. - Their answer - each congressman orders his own pizza (at govt expense), and since there is too much, they end up throwing away over half of each pizza. Total cost of 6 small pizza is $36 - compared to $6 for one large pizza. - total waste is about $20.

So if these 6 congressman have trouble compromising, just think what it is like for 435 congressmen! - and how much waste is involved.
