If a new war broke out with the United States, which three countries do you think we could count on for help? I am not 100% sure of any, but my list would be Britain, Israel, and Australia. Can anyone think of any other nations?

I wouldn't be too sure if these countries would be our allies if the U.S was facing a very large formidable enemy. In lesser conflicts we could count on their support and I would add Canada to the mix and even France and Germany.

Sure, why not France. If the circumstances of a war waged against the U.S. would benefit them they would aid the U.S.

If we attacked? No one of significance.

If we were attacked by another country? The members of NATO would be bound by treaty.

Bear in mind that in order to run the U.S missile defence system, that is run through several bases in the outback of Australia, as a result if someone attacks the U.S by force they are going to attack us as well or even as a first strike.

So naturally Australian forces are going to defend the U.S, or we wouldent be making ourselves a target in the first place.

Some nations you might add could be,

    Poland,
    Estonia,
    Lithuania,
    Israel,
    Japan,
    South Korea,
    Taiwan.

I would count on Britain, Israel, Australia, and Canada. (for obvious reasons & others which I won't go into here)

I think it will be fewer than after 9-11 against Afghanistan.

Who, if any, our allies will be in a new war depends on where it takes place, why and what's in it for them. Darfur would have a different set than Venezuela.

Canada? Not a chance, unless they themselves were directly threatened. They have thrived under the protection of the American umbrella for decades, but there is more anti American sentiment there than you could possibly imagine.

If we could neutralize the liberals in our country, we wouldn't need a single ally. Our might is incomparable, on paper.
