    During Christ's ministry the Edomites possessed Israel, Eze. 35:10
    During the time of Christ when He "was there", the Herodian family controlled and possessed Israel, they rebuilt the temple and built 12 cities. They were Edomites. They no longer controlled Israel after the 70 AD destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans.

    The Edomite Rothschild financed the development of Israel, the Edomites are in possession of Israel today like they were in Christ's time. He also financed the building of Jerusalem's court house:
