Can I post a poll here, or does it need to be in the polling section?

If one of these three people are going to be the next President, who would you choose (if you would actually vote for him or her), or who would you tolerate the most (if you would never vote for any of the three) as our next President?

I couldnt choose. Sorry. But I'll tell you that I could tolerate John Edwards the least! I cant stand the man. He is the most disingenuous and dishonest of the whole bunch. If I had to look at that phony hypocrite every day I think I would pray for the coming of the Lord even harder. So on second thought, maybe it would be a good thing.:praying:

Sorry i went outside and banged my head against the wall for a bit :BangHead: and still couldn't come up and answer. One thing is for sure...any of the 3 would greatly increase my prayer life!:praying:

    "Tolerate" is the key word.

This poll assumes we have no other choice, right?

Correct, the poll assumes that one of these 3 will be the next President. Given that scenario, who would you want to be in there over the other two? Not saying you would vote for them. Not saying you like them in the least. But who could you tolerate the most among the three? One responder said he could tolerate Edwards the least, so that means his choice is either for Hillary or Obama. Another way to look at it (if you are one who would never vote for these 3) is to think which person would do the least damage as President?

They are all three the same. There is no difference. What is sad is that the voters are very angry at the Republicans, and rightly so. I do not think it is fair to take out what this present administration has done on the present nominees, but that is how people think.

There is no doubt in my mind the Democratic nominee will win in November. As usual, the Democrats have no positive ideas of their own, only take advantage of Republican mistakes. This is the perfect year for that.

Hopefully none of the above. I've never heard of Obama until he joined the race.

Huckabee and Obama win in Iowa.

    Iowa winners

I can appreciate Edwards's roots - mine are similar. All have platforms that are big government and would exponentially increase the size and scope of the government. All are fiscally wreckless to one extent or another. I will give Hillary credit that she stuck by her vote on Iraq for a while. But you have to wonder if it was out of conviction or expediency. I could tolerate Edwards the least. His economic policies are probably the most irresponsible. Obama is a wildcard. We just don't know enough about him.

Hard to come up with an answer. Maybe Hillary? I guess the devil you know...... :type:

Be Reminded that the race under discussion is
for the President of the USofA. Non-USofA citizens
don't get a vote. Please do NOT confuse this
race with the one for Antichrist of the Earth.
Apparently only Satan gets a vote on that election :(

I pay $400 a month for my "employer payed" health care. And that has a $1000 deductidle and 20/80. I am looking forward to that "free" health care. My 19 year old son will get that "free" college education. I cant wait.

Your tax that will get you the 'free $400 month' health
care will cost you $400 a month (your contribultion)
plus $600 a month for your employer's contribution
+$2,000 which is your kind contribution to those who are
    unemployed. Thank you for contributing.
That looks like 7½ times as much as you pay now, pretty
expensive for something claiming to be 'free'.

Oops, I forgot the 24% administration fee for your
health care usage - that will average an extra $700
    a month.

Now, which one of the three are pro-life?? Oh, that right , none of them. Therefore, I can't tolorate any ot them!

I've gotta agree with PS104_33, I'd be praying that much harder for Christ's return!

Which ever one would select Sam Nunn as their vice-president. Then I would pray that we have a scenario where he would accede to the office of President, and for his health to remain good enough that there is absolutely no chance that Speaker Nancy Pelosi would ever get into that office.

Come to think of it, the scary possibility of a President Nancy Pelosi, or a President Robert C. ('White-robes') Byrd, makes any of the three look better, to me, by the minute, and that takes some real doing!

should I have to "tolerate" another president?

In my opinion we shouldn't have to tolerate a president...we should have one that would be for the people and would actually listen to the people. After all they are a public servant. Will that actually happen? Probably not and if any of those three get into office I might have to think about moving, though where I don't know. I will be doing much praying this year (as I know all of you will be) that we get a president that will bring this country back to where it should be.
