    I just had to asked who has met Dr. Bob? I knew him all my life and his daughter baby sat me. :D

    Met Dr. Bob? Is this a loaded question? I am kind of afraid to ... I hear sometimes his bowtie gets to spinning and flys off his neck.

    I can't say I did, but I'd like to. I have seen many of his pictures from different years, and have a good idea how he looks like. But I'd love to meet him and see if he is as funny in person as he comes across the Baptist Board. For on the board sometimes he is hillarious. Yet he has a serious side to him also, and an immense Bible knowledge. Let me put it this way, I hope to see him sometime in the future, but if not, then I am sure to see him in heaven. [​IMG]

    Never have, and I'd be skeered to. I've seen his pic, and since I'm only 5 1 1/2 I do believe I'd be looking him straight in the kneecaps. [​IMG]

    I had the honor of meeting Dr. Bob last fall. Thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship. My only regret was that we only had about 45 minutes to chat. Best wishes, Chick.

    Dr. Bob and his wife will be in San Diego sometime later this year (I am not sure when), but I am planning to be out of town that day. :D

    HEY settle down here. It is a special blessing to meet me personally and have some of my humility and meekness run down off my beard to the hem of your garments . . . :rolleyes:

    I will be in San Diego on the weekend of Easter Sunday I believe (March 30 I fly in) and will be looking for a church with a breakfast after the sunrise service. I don't get up that early without FOOD being strictly involved. :cool:

    And trust me, all, I am funnier looking than I act. Guaranteed. :eek:

    I have met Dr. Bob on several occasions, before the BB. His daughter and I were roomates in college when she was a freshmen and I was a senior. A good friend of mine also married one of his sons, and I was her wedding coordinator. I believe the last time I saw him was when he visited my old church, where my husband and I were married. It's probably been a good 5 or 6 years since I've seen him. I only got to actually know him a little better here. ;)

    And did you know that my daughter had her baby in November and now Ang had little Christian Joshua Griffin the 23rd?

    Her parents are there now, and we fly out on Wednesday for a week of holding that precious grandson!

    What has it been? Almost 6 years since they got married? Like the frog said, "Time's fun when you're having flies." :rolleyes:

    I've met Dr. Bob...I sang in one of his son's weddings. Met and chatted with him at the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, but he has no memory of me! I guess I'm just one of those forgettable characters. [​IMG]

    Oh well...my sister lives in the same town as Dr. Bob, so I plan to show up on his door-step one of these days. This time I'll make sure he will never forget me! [​IMG]

    I hear he is coming to San Diego and I live about 10 mile from Thomas Cassidy! I intend to meet him someday! I hear he's leaving town when Dr. Bob get here... probably taking his motorcycle into the San Diego country! I wonder if he has a side car and a bald headed, chubby christian fellow can bum a ride...
