In your place of employment, who leaves first when it is time to knock off, you or the boss?

The owner/boss is not on the premises all the time, and he likes to go home early when he is there - so I am usually the last to leave being the manager.

I leave at 5:30pm daily with few exceptions.

He only spends 2-3 days a week IN the local. He is however, just a phone call away.

When he is there, he usually leaves at 5pm. On those days, he's been at work before the chickens wake up.

My wife is the boss and she is always working 2+ hours every evening after the staff leave. I come for an hour or two daily, but leave FIRST.

Ah, the joy of being a "kept man", a little "arm candy" for the good doctor!

When I was boss (mostly retired now), I always was the last to leave. Now, my wife(the boss) leaves first and goes to work while I keep the home fires burning. [IMG] :D

I work a varied schedule so sometimes he leaves first sometimes I do. I don't put in even close to the number of hours he does. I work 50+ per week and he works at least 60+.

Now my last boss only worked 40 and I was putting in the 60-65 every week.

I work in accounting. We have flex time so people start their work day anywhere from 6:30 - 8:00 a.m.

It depends on the day, I am a dishwasher and it depends if I get my chores done before the waitresses and cooks, my boss is the absolute last person out of the establishment technically. Because he locks the door.

It depends on the day. Sometimes I leave first; sometimes my boss leaves first.

It depends on the day. On performance or trip evening, I am the last person to leave, sometimes including the janitors. One trip this past year got me home at about 3 am. I went to work that day at about 7:30 am.

    It varies.

I don't know how the other branches were but it was kinda funny in the Navy. Among officers at least, leaving first definitely followed the chain of command: A division officer went home after his Dept. Head, who followed the XO. The Captain usually left early/mid afternoon.
