Who said this?

I'm trying to find a particular quote from history, but I can't remember the exact wording of the quote, which makes it that much harder to find. Hoping someone here will recognize it. It went something like this, I think when a missionary was threatened with martyrdom.

"What are you going to do, kill me? That’s all? Because you’re doing me a favor. You’re sending me straight to heaven."​

Any ideas as to who said that, or something like it?
