    So? Are they related? Is the greatest living preacher, according to Spurgeon, also the most theologically knowledgeable president?

    Who would know the answer to that arcane bit of trivia? Especially without using a search engine.
    Who is a Spurgeon biographer on this group?

    At least some of us can take a shot at the question about the US President.

    In light of the fact that no answers or guesses seem forthcoming, I looked it up (but won't disclose it). I had no idea, so I can't really say I was surprised or not.

    Spurgeon regarded John A. Broadus (1827-1895) as the greatest of living preachers. Broadus was an American Baptist preacher.

    D. L. Moody regarded John McNeil (1854-1933) as the greatest preacher in the world. McNeil was known as the Scottish Spurgeon.
