    Hey, since the US is now the world's largest debtor, we should get in on this. We owe the rest of the world a lot more than they owe us. And every month, Dubya is adding billons to the load.

    By all means, let's do it.

    I suspect, though, that these guys are not going to welcome us. I think what they have in mind, is for us to keep paying on our debts, but forgive theirs.

    Sure. Bush and his cronies still haven't completely gutted the capital built by ten or so generations of Americans. They can still draw it down for awhile before we hit poverty status.
